In 2012, she completed her master's degree in pharmacy, and in 2017, she defended her doctoral dissertation at the same university. She is currently employed as a university professor in the research group at the Independent Laboratory of Behavioral Research.
She has 15 years of experience in toxicological and behavioral research, working with various laboratory animals, including mice, rats, and both larval and adult zebrafish (Danio rerio). She serves as the principal investigator and executor of projects funded by the National Science Centre, Poland (MINIATURA 4, OPUS 25, SONATA 19).
Additionally, she is a reviewer for prestigious scientific journals indexed in the Philadelphia list, such as Food Research International, Frontiers in Behavioral Neuroscience, Frontiers in Pharmacology, Naunyn-Schmiedeberg's Archives of Pharmacology, Neurobiology of Stress, Neurotoxicity Research, Pharmacological Reports, and Scientific Reports.
She is a member of the Polish Zebrafish Society, from which she is currently serving her second term on the Local Ethics Committee for Animal Experiments in Lublin
