Prof. Barbara Budzyńska is a recognized specialist in neuropharmacology and pharmacodynamics, focusing on addiction mechanisms, drug interactions, and new pharmacotherapy strategies. Since 2018, she has been the Head of the Independent Laboratory of Behavioral Studies at the Faculty of Medicine, Medical University of Lublin. She is the author of over 150 original scientific publications and a recipient of prestigious awards, including distinctions from the Minister of Health and the Polish Pharmaceutical Society. Actively collaborating with research centers in Poland and abroad, she participates in research projects on natural products and psychoactive substances and their effects on the nervous system. In addition to her research work, she is dedicated to educating young scientists, serving as a supervisor for numerous doctoral and master's theses.
